Assistant professor Dr. Najah Subhi Nayef, teaching in the Department of life sciences at the Faculty of Science – University of Mosul, participated in the discussion Committee of the master’s thesis tagged “isolation and diagnosis of parasites from leafy vegetables in various areas of Nineveh Governorate”, submitted by student Amina Shoaib Muhammad Yunus at the Faculty of education for girls – University of Mosul, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The study aimed to detect parasites in leafy vegetables and diagnose them by microscopic and molecular methods, while comparing pollution levels between agricultural areas and markets. The discussion committee consisted of assistant professor Dr. Sajida Sharif Hussein as chairman, and the membership of assistant professor Dr. Najah Sobhi Nayef and assistant professor Dr. Safa Mohammed Mahmoud, while assistant professor Dr. Fouad Salem Ismail assumed supervision and membership of the committee. This participation confirms the scientific presence of the Faculty of science teachers and their contribution to supporting graduate studies and enhancing academic cooperation between the faculties of the University of Mosul.
