Based on the directives of the presidency of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Ryan Mazen Faisal, assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, and the college registrar and audit officer, met in the presence of Department rapporteurs and registration officials in the Departments of the college, to follow up on the mechanisms and procedures for entering student data into the SIS system. The meeting discussed the process of entering and updating students ‘ data in the system, discussing the most prominent observations and obstacles facing the registration staff in the departments, as well as discussing ways to address and overcome them, which contributes to speeding up the completion of work and ensuring the accuracy of the entered data. During the meeting, they also discussed a number of organizational and technical aspects related to the registration process and student data management, and stressed the importance of coordination and continuous communication between the registration division and the scientific departments, in order to ensure the smooth flow of procedures and achieve the requirements of academic and administrative work. This meeting comes within the framework of the Faculty of science’s keenness to develop electronic work mechanisms and enhance the accuracy and organization of student databases, in line with the requirements of digital transformation in higher education institutions.
