A committee from the Department of Science and technology parks at the presidency of Mosul University assesses the reality of the work of units in the Faculty of science

In accordance with the directives of the president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, the College of Science received a committee from the Department of Science and technology parks at the university presidency, on a visit aimed at assessing the reality of the work of the units affiliated to the department, and to see the level of implementation of its tasks, programs and working mechanisms followed in them. The visit included reviewing the work of the four units of the science and technology parks division, namely: the qualification, employment and follow-up unit, the Scientific Products Marketing unit, the leadership unit, and the technology incubator unit. The visit included following up on the mechanisms of work, programs and activities implemented, and getting acquainted with the reality of the services provided by the units to students and researchers, which contributes to supporting students ‘ skills, enhancing qualification and employment opportunities, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, marketing scientific products, and incubating technological ideas and projects. This visit comes within the framework of follow-up and continuous evaluation of the work of the units, identifying their needs and requirements for developing their performance, in a way that enhances the role of Science and technology parks in supporting the university environment, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening the link between the University’s outputs and the needs of the labor market.
