Under the patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and in the presence of the director general of the research and development department at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, the Council of the College of science, headed by the dean of the College, Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, participated in the central celebration held by our beloved University on the occasion of Iraqi sovereignty day. The celebration came as a confirmation of the values of national belonging and pride in the sovereignty of Iraq and the unity of its land, and evoking the meanings of the homeland and its place in the souls of its children, especially from the University of Mosul and the city of Mosul, which knew the meaning of steadfastness and belonging. The participation of the Faculty of science comes in line with its academic and community mission, and in order to consolidate the values of citizenship and belonging, and enhance the role of the University in building awareness and serving the homeland and society.
