A new scientific achievement added to the record of academic excellence of the Faculty of Science – University of Mosul, was the selection of teacher Madin Ra’ad Ghazal Al-Jubouri, teaching in the Department of Earth and petroleum Sciences, as a scientific evaluator (Reviewer) for one of the scientific research submitted to the International Journal of Water Resources Development, one of the international scientific journals specialized in the field of Water Resources. This selection comes in recognition of the scientific and academic experience enjoyed by the teaching staff, and a contribution to the work of judging and scientific evaluation of research submitted to international journals, reflecting the scientific presence of Faculty of science teachers and their active participation in evaluating research results and enhancing the quality of scientific publication. According to the indicators received, the journal is classified within the first quarter (Q1) in Scopus and the second quarter (Q2) in Clarivate, which reflects the journal’s position among international scientific databases. We wish our college professors more progress and giving.
