Department of Criminal Evidence.. A new formation is added to the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul

In continuation of the excellence and development approach adopted by the College of Science, the college opened the building of the forensic evidence Department, in the presence of the president of the University of Mosul, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, the dean of the College of Science, Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, the dean of the College of Science, the distinguished assistants of the dean for scientific and administrative affairs, the distinguished members of the College Council, the director of the Department of construction and projects, the engineers of the Department of Ages, as well as a number of faculty teachers and staff, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The establishment of the forensic evidence Department comes within the college’s orientations towards expanding its academic formations and keeping pace with scientific developments and modern specialties, in a way that enhances its role in preparing specialized scientific staff, and opens new horizons for students in the scientific and applied fields related to forensic evidence. On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of science extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the presidency of the University of Mosul, represented by the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, the director of the Department of reconstruction and projects, the engineers working in it, and the members of the Deanship of the college and its students, in appreciation of their efforts and contributions to the achievement of this scientific edifice, and to enhance the spirit of cooperation and joint work in support of the March of the college and the development of its infrastructure. This achievement reflects the continuation of the career of the Faculty of Science in development and excellence, strengthening its scientific and academic status, and moving forward towards an integrated university environment that keeps pace with the requirements of higher education and serves the community. The Faculty of science has always been a title for every distinction and gift.
