By THE Patronage of the Dean of the college of Sciences Assistant Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Al-Taii esteemed and by supervision of the Head of the department of chemistry , Assistant professor Dr. Salam Jassim esteemed , the department of chemistry held workshop on Thursday 30 December 2021 under titled’’ The guidelines of the safety in chemistry laboratories’’ to activates of reception and guidance new students , the first hour was included brief about the Chemistry Department and followed it educational guidance directives and general academic instructions for students, regarding the students from instructions of students disciplinary exam instructions and general direction for new students. In the second hour, it has been recited lecture from risks of chemical compounds and act identify around inside of department corridors for identify on classrooms and laboratories that used the students.In conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Azam Ahmad Mohammed, the decided of department, recited lecture from a good laboratorial practice, he assured in it on using of safety means inside laboratory including wear laboratory coat, gloves, and goggles. After that, it has delivered the certification of participation for students.
