A workshop on the Schroedinger equation in the context of nanoscience

Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmady, and under the supervision of the Honorable Mrs. Dean of the College of Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Al-Taii, a workshop was held in the Physics Department on the morning of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, a workshop within the continuing education activities tagged “Schrodenker equation in the context of nanoscience.” Delivered by both A.M.D. Mohamed Khairy Zaki and Prof. Mohsin Muhammed.It provided an overview of the use of the Schroedecker equation in nanotechnology, with a special focus on nanowires, potentiometric wells and quantum dots because of their great importance in the current scientific and technological reality. The Schroedinger equation has been reformulated for the states: Quantum Wires, Quantum Well and Quantum Dot, and how to use them in applications of nanotechnology.
