With the help of God Almighty, the College of Science / Department of Biology is scheduled to hold the discussion of the PhD dissertation submitted by the student Ibtihal Idris Kanaan Suleiman, entitled: “Isolation and Identification of Antimicrobial and Plasmid-Curing Agents from Pathogenic and Environmental Pseudomonas aeruginosa Isolates.” The dissertation aims to isolate and characterize antimicrobial agents as well as plasmid-curing compounds from both pathogenic and environmental isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This research contributes to developing innovative scientific approaches to address the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance and to investigate strategies for limiting the spread of resistance genes carried on plasmids.
