Registration of 19 bacterial strains and bacterial phages in the global gene bank (NCBI)
Mayss Abdulnafea2026-07-22T05:52:34+00:00As part of the ongoing series of scientific and research achievements at the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Anmar Ahmed al-Taie and a master's student in microbiology, Shahad Moaz al-Sawaf, were able to register 19 bacterial strains in the global gene bank of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The registered strains included 12 strains of Staphylococcus haemolyticus bacteria, four strains of Staphylococcus aureus, three strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis, and carried the codes from ShaAnm1 to ShaAnm19, and by serial numbers from PZ627394 to PZ627412.
