As part of the activities of the geological diversity Day held during this week, and within the framework of enhancing scientific cooperation between the faculties and centers of Mosul University, a scientific visit was made to one of the important geological sites that include the footprints of extinct animals that lived during the middle–late Eocene, preserved on the surface of the last layer of the plesiocene formation, which is estimated to be about 38-48 million years old, in the Amadiya – sulaf area in Duhok Governorate / Kurdistan region.
