PhD Dissertation Explores Gut Microbiome Diversity and TMAO Levels in Atherosclerosis Patients

The Department of  Biology at the College of Science, University of Mosul, discussed a PhD dissertation on Sunday, 24 May 2026, entitled: “Study of Gut Microbiota Diversity and the Level of Trimethylamine N-Oxide (TMAO) Metabolite in Patients with Atherosclerosis.” Part of the discussion session was attended by the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, along with a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.
