The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on:
(The symbol in the poetry of Al-Akhtal Al-Taghlibi)
On Thursday 15-12-2022, part of it was attended by Prof. Dr. Hazem Thanoun Ismail Al-Sabawi, Dean of the Faculty, and a number of faculty members.
The thesis submitted by the student (Fatima Abdullah Attia Roumi) in the Department of Arabic Language
The symbol in the opening introductions, the color symbols in the objects and poetic paintings, and the symbols of the moving nature in the poetry of Al-Akhtal Al-Taghlibi.
The study dealt with the statement of ways to know the symbol in general and its sections and how the poet uses human, social, natural and mythological symbols, as well as how he uses color symbols and the aesthetic they give to the text.
The thesis aims to shed light on the poetic output of the poet Al-Akhtal Al-Taghlibi and its contents of symbols and connotations that enriched poetic images… His poetry moves the conscience in the hearts of his readers as it moves the mind by investigating the meanings hidden in the structure of the text.Chaired by Prof. Dr. Iman Khalifa Hamed Fathy
