Citations in the poetry of Abu Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al-Ashhabi Al-Ghazi, who died in 523 AH

On Sunday 29th of January, 2023, the department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Mosul Discussed Master’s thesis on (Citations in the poetry of Abu Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al-Ashhabi Al-Ghazi, who died in 523 AH ). Part of the discussion was attended by
Prof. Dr. Hazim Dhannoon Ismail Al-Sabawi, the Dean of the College, and a number of the college members. The thesis was submitted by the student (Baidaa Raad Hazim) at the Department of Arabic Language. It dealt with the presence of citations in the poetry of Al-Ghazi, the culture is where the poetry came from, and it includes religion, literature, history, myth, and all the ideas and values that grew in the poet’s mind over time. The poet uses the energy stored in the cultural heritage in all of its forms to create new visions that express his ideas. The study looked at these cultural citations and what they mean in terms of aesthetic and artistic qualities, as well as how they connect the past and the present. The study aimed to shed light on the poetic product of Abi Ishaq Al- Ghazi and the many citations that he used to enrich his images and show how they were influenced by many things.
