On 20/12/2022, The Department of Geography in the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis / on the hydromorphometry of the Naqurtayeh Valley Basin.
Part of it was attended by Prof.Dr. Hazim Thannoon Ismail Al-Sabawi, The Dean of the College of Education and a number of College members.
It was presented by the student Nebras Ghanem Abdullah Al-Luhaibi in the Department of Geography
It dealt with studying basin in terms of the natural, morphometric and hydrological aspect and showed the impact of climatic factors, applied factors and land uses.
The study dealt with the statement of the morphological and areal characteristics, the modulus of the form and the elongation. Besides, the possibility of the basin through the investment of the lands of the Naqurtay Valley basin.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Asbahia Younes Al-Mohsen and the membership of each of the asst. prof. Dr. Nali Jawad Hamad,
Asst.Prof. Raed Mahmoud Faisal.
And the supervision and membership of Asst Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Ghathwan
