The Historical Content in the Poetry of the Buyid Era

The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul discussed a Ph.D. dissertation in Islamic history titled “The Historical Content in the Poetry of the Buyid Era.”

Professor Dr. Hazim Dhanoon Ismail, the Dean of the College, attended part of the discussion, which was chaired by:

  • Prof. Tareq Fathi Sultan – University of Mosul, College of Education for Humanities (Chair).
  • Prof. Sharif Basheer – University of Mosul, College of Arts (Member).
  • Prof. Noufal Mohammed Noori – University of Mosul, College of Education for Humanities (Member).
  • Prof.  Khamis Gharbi – University of Tikrit, College of Arts (Member).
  • Prof. Shakeeb Basheer Rashid – University of Mosul, College of Education for Humanities (Member)

It’s worth noting that the dissertation has been supervised by Prof.  Safwan Taha Hassan (First Supervisor) and Salem Mohammed Dhanoon (Second Supervisor) – University of Mosul, College of Education for Humanities

The committee engaged in an extensive discussion with the researcher regarding the dissertation, enriching it with valuable academic insights that strengthened its scholarly depth.
