Conclusion of the Training Course on “Fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems” at the College of Education for Humanities

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hazim Dhanoun Ismail Al-Sabawi, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities,
the training course titled “Fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)” was successfully concluded.
The course was held from March 23 to 26, 2025.

• Lecturer Ibtisam Hazim Mohammed Saeed

Key Topics Covered:

1. Selecting practical topics that address real-world problems.
2. Defining precise objectives within the framework of GIS.

At the end of the course, the Dean Prof. Dr. Al-Sabawi honored the participants by distributing certificates of participation, in appreciation of their efforts and successful completion of the course requirements.
