Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamalaldeen Al-Ahmady (Rector of University of Mosul), Department of Architecture Engineering at College of Engineering held its scientific symposium entitled ” Architecture Post-Covid-19 ” for the academic year 2021-2022 on Sunday, April 24, 2022.It was attended by, Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamalaldeen Al-Ahmady (Rector of University of Mosul), Prof. Dr. Muneer Salim Al-Badrany (Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs), Dr. Omar Mowafaq Al-Yousif (Dean Assistant for Scientific Affairs), Dean Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Heads of scientific departments, Lecturers , and Students of the department.The symposium aims to present the solutions offered by urbanization to face Covid-19 and how the spread of priority will affect the change of architectural thought, the design of internal and external spaces, and future visions that draw a clear approach to dealing with the human relationship with the place in post-Covid-19 era.The symposium recommended paying attention to the design of healthy, livable buildings capable of facing pandemics and moving towards sustainable design.On the sidelines of the symposium, an e-learning exhibition was held for the products of the third stage students in the subjects of computer architectural visualization techniques and environmental control systems.
