University of Mosul : Discussion of master’s thesis on ( Designing and Implementing a high-level Security System Depending on the Human Retina )

A master’s thesis was discussed in Department of Computer Engineering /College of Engineering/University of Mosul on (Designing and Implementing a high-level Security System Dependingon the Human Retina) for the student (Shahad Ali Sultan) on Wednesday 09-09-2020 in the discussion hall of MechatronicsEngineering Department.
The thesis included the use of the human retina scan as a means of authentication, as the retina is a biometricfeature of theuser and a very safe and reliable source for building a high-level security system for the purpose of distinguishing between users.
The thesis concluded that the proposed system contributes to solving all problems that may face the retina-based authentication system in one design. As a result, a powerful authentication system has been built that works within real-time parameters with an accuracy rate of 100% andconsumes very little implementation time.
The experimental results of the proposed system showedsignificantimprovementin terms of time consumption and classification accuracy. The discussion committee consistedof:
1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Fakhraldeen Hamid Ali … (Chairman).
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mamoun Fadhil … ( Member ).
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hazim …. ( Member ).
4. Dr. Mayadah Faris … ( member and supervisor ).Then the discussion committee read the decision which included acceptance the thesis and award the student the master degree.
