Dr. Khawla Fayyad Mahmoud (Department of Architecture Engineering) and Assist. Lecturer Noor Muzahim Allawi (Department of Mechatronics Engineering) participated in a training course on “Design and Management of aMOOC (Massive Open Online Course)”. Also, Dr. Basman Mahmood Alhafidh, Dr. Rabea Muwaffaq Hachim, Dr. Ina’am Fathi Khudher, the lecturer Ali Mukhlif Ahmed Al-Saegh and the lecturer Hothayfa rabea mohammed from (Department of Computer Engineering) participated in a training course on ” Remote Computer and Internet management and accompanying the learner in the distance learning system”.(53) lecturers and employees from University of Mosul participated in these courses which were held within the framework of the existing cooperation programs between University of Mosul and the Francophone University Agency / the Regional Administration of the Middle East Office / Beirut ( Lebanon ) and Department of Cooperation and Cultural Activity in the Iraqi Embassy in Iraq and with high and precise coordination by Scholarship and Cultural Relations Section / Francophone Corner Unit.The courses lasted for five days from 7/12/2021 to 7/16/2021.The courses included intensive lectures on how to design and management distance learning platformsMassive Open Online Course (MOOC)and about the methodology and how to accompany the lecturer with his colleagues and learners in the distance education system under the supervision of trainers specialized in the field of distance e-learning.At the end of the courses and within the completion of the course accompanying the learner in the distance learning system, the members of the winning team from Department of Computer Engineering / ( Dr. Dr. Basman Mahmood Alhafidh, Dr. Ina’am Fathi Khudher, the lecturer Ali Mukhlif Ahmed Al-Saegh) ranked first among the four participating teams In the final project of the above-mentioned session, the winners were honored with precious souvenirs.
