A Faculty Members publish two Research in an international journals
Prof. Dr. Jasim Mohammed Abduljabbar , Prof. Dr. Shefa Abdulrahman Dawwd, and Mr. Ali Mukhlif Ahmed Al-Saegh (P.HD student), A faculty members in Department of Computer Engineering published two scientific research in two international journals.The two research dealt with methods of classifying the brain signals generated as a result of imagining the movements of the extremities of the body using deep learning algorithms based on large size artificial neural networks.A new method has been proposed to classify these signals and compare their effectiveness with recent international studies.
The first research entitled “CutCat : Implants Method For the EEG Classification” is a (Research paper), It was published in (Neural Networks) journal which is in Q1 according to Scopus database with a standard number 10.9, it is also from Q1 according to Clarivate Analytics with an impact factor 8.05.
As for the second research entitled “Deep learning for motor imagery EEG-based classification: A review” It was published as a scientific (Review Paper) in (Biomedical Signal Processing and Control) journal. It is within Q1 according to Scopus database with a standard number 7.0, the Q2 according to Clarivate Analytics, It has an impact factor of 3.88, and the two journals are affiliated with Elsevier.All the best to Lecturers of our college and wishing them more scientific brilliance.
