Department of Mechanical Engineering holds a training course entitled “Methods of Joining and Modern Welding Techniques” on Monday 07/11/2022 in presence of group of faculty staff and engineers, which lasts for three days.The course aims to enhance knowledge of Methods of Joining and modern welding techniques.The course includes lectures on introduction to the methods of joining of all kinds for the lecturer Mohammed Shaalan Abed, Modern Welding Techniques for the Asst. lecturer Qays Hazim Ismail. And finally, Welding defects and ways to detect them for the Asst. lecturer Zina Moyaser Abd.The course topics are very useful in raising the knowledge level of attendants in mechanical, thermal and chemical joining methods, in addition to modern welding techniques such as friction stir welding and laser welding.
