Graduate Outcomes – Department of Civil Engineering

  1. An ability to recognize, identify, formulate and solve engineering problems in civil engineering field by applying the principles of engineering, science and mathematics.
  2. An ability to produce engineering designs that meet the required needs within specific restrictions for public health and safety, and global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors by applying analysis and synthesis processes in the design.
  3. An ability to create and implement appropriate measurements and tests with ensuring quality, analyze and interpret the results, and the ability to make engineering judgments to reach conclusions.
  4. An ability to effectively communicate with various segments of society.
  5. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering issues, and make sound judgments that considers consequences in financial, environmental, societal and global matters.
  6. An ability to recognize the necessity of continuing self-development of professional knowledge and how to obtain, evaluate, accumulate and apply it properly.
