Awareness Campaign at College of Engineering on the Importance of Updating the Voter Card
Under the patronage of President of University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of Dean of College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, and in line with efforts to promote awareness of the Sustainable Development Objectives— including Objective 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions — Division of Media and Government Communication in our college organized an awareness campaign titled “The Importance of Updating the Voter Card,” under the slogan: “Updating the Voter Register is a National Duty to Ensure Your Participation in Decision-Making,” on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of updating the voter card, as well as the significance of the card itself, emphasizing that updating the voter register is a national duty to participate in the decision-making process.
The campaign included the design and display of digital awareness posters on electronic screens located in the college’s dean’s office and various departments, to ensure the message reached the largest possible number of students and staff members.
