As part of the regular meetings of the Industrial Advisory Council of Civil Engineering Department, the second meeting for the academic year 2024–2025 was held in the halls of Civil Engineering Department on Monday, April 14, 2025, with the attendance of the members of Engineering Industrial Advisory Council, the Head of Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Moataz AbdulJabbar Al-Obaidi, and members of the department’s academic advisory council.

The meeting discussed methods for implementing the programs of the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education through three main axes:

1. Discussing the learning outcomes and the objectives achieved from the educational process and how well they align with labor market requirements.

2. Reviewing the academic curricula and the extent to which they achieve the intended learning outcomes.

3. Exploring possibilities for cooperation between technical bodies in engineering institutions and the transfer of expertise to graduates and postgraduate students through seminars and workshops aimed at linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
