Workshop at College of Engineering on Roads and Bridges in Nineveh Province
As part of the ongoing collaboration between University of Mosul / College of Engineering and executive institutions in Nineveh Governorate—and with the aim of transferring practical expertise in the implementation of strategic projects to graduates and postgraduate students, as well as fostering knowledge exchange with academic staff to bridge theoretical and practical aspects—the Industrial Advisory Council in the Department of Civil Engineering, in cooperation with Nineveh Roads and Bridges Directorate, organized a workshop titled “Rehabilitation of Bridges in Nineveh Province”.
The workshop was held in Department of Civil Engineering, in Najeeb Khurofa Hall, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Saeed from the Nineveh Roads and Bridges Directorate.
The presentation addressed the challenges involved in the rehabilitation of the Fifth Bridge, a project in which the Engineering Consulting Bureau at University of Mosul—represented by consultants from Department of Civil Engineering—played a significant and active role in the restoration process.
