Women’s Affairs Committee Meeting at College of Engineering, University of Mosul
The Women’s Affairs Committee at College of Engineering held its first meeting for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Dr. Reem Ali Taleb and attended by committee members, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Department of Environmental Engineering’s Hall.
The meeting discussed strategic plans and initiatives to support women in academic and social fields, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly gender equality, quality education, and reducing inequalities. It also outlined the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, and the Executive Plan of the Iraqi National Strategy for Women (2025–2026), in accordance with the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Mosul Presidency.
