Workshop in Department of Mechanical Engineering on “Using SolidWorks Software to Develop Mechanical Engineering Skills”
As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in line with its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Department of Mechanical Engineering, in cooperation with the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, organized a scientific workshop for the department’s students entitled “Using SolidWorks Software to Develop Mechanical Engineering Skills” on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ abilities in utilizing modern engineering software for 3D design and modeling, and to develop their technical competencies in alignment with the evolving needs of the modern labor market.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Muyssar Idris Ismail, Head of Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, and Engineer Yasser Shukur Mahmood from Department of Mechanical Engineering. The event witnessed active participation and great interest from the students, who engaged enthusiastically with the practical content.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities organized by te College of Engineering at University of Mosul to empower students with technical and engineering skills that support their academic and professional development.
