Training Course in Department of Civil Engineering on “Two-Stage Concrete as a Sustainable Production”
As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in line with its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Department of Civil Engineering organized a training course titled “Two-Stage Concrete as a Sustainable Production” for the period from November 16 to November 20, 2025. The course was directed toward faculty members and engineers at College of Engineering.
The course aimed to introduce two-stage concrete as a sustainable construction material, highlighting its characteristics and mechanical properties.
The course delivered by Dr. Muna Mubarak Abdulla (lecturer and course supervisor), Asst. Prof. Dr. Salwa Mubarak Abdulla, and Dr. Iman Khalid Ibrahim.
The program included an introductory overview of two-stage concrete as a sustainable product, its properties, its mechanical behavior, and recent studies related to this type of concrete. The course will conclude with an evaluation exam for all participants.
