College of Engineering

As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering and its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Division of Media and Government Communication , in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Committee in College of Engineering and Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at University Presidency, organized an awareness campaign on water conservation on Monday, 17 November 2025.

The campaign included designing and displaying digital awareness posters on electronic screens across the College’s administration building and its various departments, ensuring that the message reached the largest number of students and staff.

This initiative played a significant role in raising awareness about the importance of preserving water and rationalizing its consumption. It aimed to educate students and staff on the optimal use of water resources, reduce waste, and promote positive behaviors that support sustainability.

The campaign represents an important step toward spreading awareness and encouraging joint efforts to address water scarcity challenges. It reflects College of Engineering’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation in environmental awareness.
