Discussion of Master Thesis in Civil Engineering Department
On Thursday (13/2/2020) in Civil Engineering Department, a discussion of mester thesis was held
with a specialization in construction engineering for the student (Riyad Moaid MalAllah) entitled
(The effect of the engineering shape on the dynamic response of reinforced concrete structures
under the influence of an explosive load).
the thesis included Studying the effect of explosions on buildings and the importance of taking the loads of explosions
into consideration in the structural design and concluded that the introduction of these loads into the design works
to reduce the damage in the buildings in addition to how to deal with them after the explosion occurred.
The discussion committee consisted of:
1- Prof. Dr. Muhammad Najm Mahmoud …. (cheif).2- Prof. Dr. Aziz Ibrahim Abdullah …. (member).3- Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabie Moaid Najm …. (member).4- Asst. Prof. Dr. Sufyan Younus Ahmad …. (member and supervisor).
Then red the discussion committee’s decision, which includes accepting the thesis,
wiht granting the student a master degree.
