Participation in the scientific symposium 53 of the Center for Mosul Studies “Digitization and its role in preserving the heritage of Mosul”

Under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, Rector of the University,
a number of lecturers of Architecture Engineering Department at the College of Engineering participated
in the scientific symposium (53) of the Mosul Studies Center entitle
(Digitization and its role in preserving the heritage of Mosul)
that was held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the hall of The Scientific and Literary Forum,
in the presence of a number of colleges deans, centers directors, and an elite of specialists and relevant lecturers.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Imad Hani Al-Allaf with his research entitle “Digital Archiving of the Old City of Mosul”.Also With the participation of Prof. Dr. Imad Hani Al-Allaf with Eng. Khaled Ahmed discussing the research
“Mechanism for Classifying Heritage Items Using Shape Grammar”.
And Asst. Prof. Mumtaz Hazem Al-Dewachi in his research entitle
“Digital social networks as a means of introducing architectural and urban heritage”.
