University of Mosul : discussion of Master thesis about ( a comparative study between traditional compensators and static compensators using the program ( MATLAB)
A Master thesis in electrical engineering department / college of engineering at University ofMosul discussedofComparative Study between traditionalcompensators and static compensators using theprogram(MATLAB) for the Student Saleh Mahdi Saleh Mohammed on Wednesday 06/05/2020.
The thesis included a study of comparison between some traditional compensators and static compensators and impact ofthesecompensatorson thestability of voltage power system generallyand voltage outs of the region ‘s weak in power system in particular by representing the standard system with nine generalizations computerically .The researcher found that thecompensator synchromesh static when aninsect in thepower system in stable condition with increased loads is thebest analogy”to traditional compensators through eleven academic models included in the thesis. Italso reached the thesis that compensator synchromesh static protects the power system breakdown voltages or Delaying this breakdownin voltages.
The discussion committee consistedofAsst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nasr Bahjat Al-Samak (Chairman) and the membership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yahya Sulaiman ( member ), Dr. Saad Inad Ahmed ( member ) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Abdullah Al-Rawi ( member and supervisor ).
Then the discussion committee read the decision and included accepting the thesis and granting the student Ms.c degree.
