College of Engineering at University of Mosul, represented by its deanProf. Dr. Bayar Jafar Al-Sulayvanito present its best activities and events that serve the educational process .From the first moments of the curfew because of COVID-19 pandemic, the faculty staff of the college took upon themselves the task of completing the study electronically through various scientific platforms where committees were formed as an e-learning cell that organized electronic training lectures on electronic platforms, the most prominent of which was a platform “Zoom” And platform “Meet” As well as other applications available within the packageG-Suite. Statistics and follow-up committeeswereformedfor the electronic educational process. College of engineering did not stop to this extent, but the college formed a committee for electronic courses, and here the creations of the academic staff of the College of Engineering, which proved its distinction not only within the precise specialization as lectures on electricity, electronic systems and networks, and engineering drawing, but also exceeded that of creativity in other scientific fields that benefit greatly on the lecturers staff and researchers in general .Where(48) an electronic training course were set up in various fields and specializations, including courses in the field of publishing scientific research, courses in reference management, courses on professional uses of various types of programs and lectures on electronic education that included lectures on the basic programs used in the architectural space in addition to training courses on assistive programs that support the process of electronic education Like programs of “Kahoot”And others.The courses covered general topics such as scientific promotions, the arts of writing dissertations and theses.Among the most prominent activities that were also presented are international workshops, in which lecturers from foreign universities were hosted .The electronic courses were attended by at least (30,000) thirty thousand participants in general, researchers and academics from various local, Arab and international educational institutions .Theestablishment ofthese courses had several goals, including participation in overcoming the current health crisis and spreading the culture of e-learning and providing all means that enables the lecturers to communicate with the students and deliver the scientific subjects in addition to defined the lecturer of scientific publishing mechanisms and many other and varied goals through which College of Engineering was aimed Provide everything you can to support education in Iraqi universities .One of the most important results of the sessions established was to increase communication between the various Iraqi universities in its various departments and College of Engineering in addition to Arab and international universities .It also contributed to expanding the practical and knowledge exchange between these colleges. College of Engineeringhopesthat this will be a start to support communication and scientific exchange between the various universities.
