Training Course Announcement: College of Environmental Sciences

With sponsorship of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Muthanna Jassim Al-Taee, Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, with the diligent follow-up of Dr. Ali Zain Al-Abidin Haider, Head of the Department of Climate Change, and as part of the Continuing Education Unit’s activities:

The College of Environmental Sciences / Department of Climate Change, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit, is organizing a professional training course titled:

“Plastic Waste Recycling and its Role in Mitigating Climate Change for a Sustainable Environment”

Course Objectives

The program aims to provide participants with scientific and practical knowledge regarding plastic waste management and recycling. It highlights the practical impact of these processes in reducing climate change and supporting sound environmental practices within both institutions and society.

  • Dates: February 1st – February 5th, 2026
  • Time: 10:00 AM
  • Location: The College Discussion Hall

Registration Details

  1. Registration: Please register through the Continuing Education Unit.
  2. Fees: The participation fee is 5,000 IQD, payable at the College’s Accounts Department.
  3. Certification: Participants will be awarded an official certificate of participation upon completion of the course.
