Visit of Environmental Health Department students to the central laboratory of the College of Agriculture and Forestry..
Within the directives of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, to support the educational process and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Health, Assistant Professor Dr. Rahab Abdul-Jabbar Hamid, and in continuation of the series of field activities aimed at enhancing the theoretical aspect with the practical application aspect, second-stage students in the Department of Environmental Health conducted a scientific visit to the central laboratory of the College of Agriculture and Forestry at our university on Monday, December 9, 2024, accompanied by an elite group of lecturers and members of the department.
The visit included introducing students to the available laboratory equipment and how to work on it by laboratory workers, as well as getting to know the PCR unit and its devices.
The visit aimed to inform students about the devices of the central laboratory of the College of Agriculture and Forestry and how to work on them within the requirements of the Microbiology subject.
