A workshop at the College of Environmental Sciences on administrative corruption.

As part of enhancing legal and administrative awareness among civil servants, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Muhammad Al-Taie, the Department of Climate Change, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, held a workshop entitled “The Civil Service Discipline Law as a Tool to Combat Administrative Corruption” on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hassan Jamal Abdullah and Assistant Lecturer Layali Adel Saber.
The lecture included an explanation of the Civil Service Law and its effective role in regulating professional conduct and promoting the principles of transparency and accountability within government institutions. The most prominent legal provisions related to employee accountability were also discussed, as were the mechanisms for implementing administrative penalties to ensure justice and discipline.
The workshop aimed to enhance legal and administrative awareness among civil servants and highlight the importance of job commitment in reducing administrative corruption.
