Under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Muhammad Al-Taie, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad Fadhil Al-Nama, and as part of the Department of Environmental Technology’s ongoing activities to support the scientific and practical aspects of students’ learning, first-year students from the Department of Environmental Technology, accompanied by a select group of faculty members, conducted a scientific visit to the Mishraq Sulfur General Company on Monday, April 28, 2025.

The visit included an overview of sulfur extraction methods and the detailed steps for alum production, from raw material to packaging. They also visited the sulfur well field area.

This visit came within the framework of the joint cooperation between the university and the company, with the aim of enhancing scientific skills and benefiting from the company’s existing expertise.
