College of Environmental Sciences

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, and under the supervision and attendance of the Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil, two seminars were held in the Department of Environmental Sciences on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
The first, presented by student Sara Walid, was titled “Evaluating the Quality of Groundwater for Various Uses in Ba’aj District, Nineveh Governorate.” It included an assessment of the chemical and physical properties of groundwater.

The second seminar, presented by student Shahd Hussein, was titled “Biological Water Treatment Using Containers Dyed with Nano-materials.” It included a study of the efficiency of biological water treatment using containers dyed with nano-materials.
