Meeting of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences with the Head of the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul
The Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, received in his office Dr. Saeed Khudaida Qulu, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul Presidency, in the presence of the Head of the Human Rights Unit at our college, Mr. Mohammed Saadallah.
During the meeting, ways to promote a culture of human rights within the university environment were discussed, as well as activating awareness programs and joint activities that contribute to consolidating human rights concepts among students and affiliates. The Dean also emphasized the important role played by human rights units in supporting an academic environment based on respect, justice, and equality.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the university’s colleges and the university presidency, and is consistent with the University of Mosul’s general direction to consolidate human rights values across all its aspects.
