Ten new fungal strains registered in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) within the global GenBank database.
As part of the scientific achievements of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil and graduate student Naba Ziad Muhammad recorded ten fungal strains under the identification codes (PV711345, PV12065, PV18105, PV712682, PV712691, PV712692, PV713086, PV713087, PV714127, and PV714128). These strains were isolated from infected plant samples in the city of Mosul and belong to various types of plant fungi.
