In implementation of the directives of Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Automated Cataloging and Technical Procedures in Libraries (KOHA) visited our library on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The committee, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, reviewed the progress of work in the college library and met with its staff. They emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise among university library staff and enhancing ongoing cooperation to achieve the university’s vision of providing the best scientific and knowledge services to researchers and the community.

They were received by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Omar Idris. During the visit, they viewed the college library and its scientific and academic resources. They also discussed ways to cooperate in developing the library and enhancing services provided to students and researchers, as well as the need to prioritize the quality of branch libraries.

During the meeting, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs emphasized the importance of this visit in supporting the college’s academic and research progress, noting the vital role university libraries play in providing the educational process with resources and knowledge.
