Under the direction of the Dean of the College, Professor Muthanna Jassim Muhammad Al-Taie, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Walid Saeed Al-Abbasi, held an orientation meeting with the college’s students. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, Dr. Ansam Ahmed Saadoun. This meeting reflects the college deanship’s commitment to monitoring student affairs and guiding them toward adhering to academic values.

The meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to regular school hours and maintaining discipline on campus, as well as the optimal use of social media to enhance the positive image of students and the college. The mechanism for selecting representatives for the academic levels was also discussed, ensuring effective representation that reflects the voice of students and contributes to the organization of their affairs. During the meeting, students’ comments and suggestions were also heard, and ways to overcome difficulties and resolve problems that hinder their academic progress were discussed.

This meeting is part of a series of orientation meetings organized by the college to enhance communication between students and the academic administration and provide an ideal university environment based on awareness and responsibility.
