Participation of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences in the Second Session of the Iraq Conference on Higher Education
The Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Mohammed Al-Taie, participated in the second session of the Iraq Higher Education Conference, held under the theme “From Achievement to Leadership… Education for the Future.”
Under the patronage and direct supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Naeem Al-Aboudi, the conference was held at the University of Baghdad from October 11 to 13, 2025.
The conference featured a distinguished program that included keynote speeches by prominent national and international experts, in addition to specialized workshops aimed at building institutional capacity and enhancing the quality of higher education in Iraq.
The Dean praised the scientific atmosphere and excellent organization of the conference, emphasizing that such events represent an important step toward developing the higher education system and exchanging expertise between Iraqi and international universities, contributing to the Ministry of Higher Education’s vision of moving from achievement to leadership.
At the conclusion of the conference, the importance of adopting modern education strategies and enhancing cooperation between universities to develop academic curricula and scientific research to meet future requirements was emphasized.
