A faculty member from our college participated in the 4th International and 6th Scientific Conference of the College of Science.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalil, Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, participated in the Fourth International and Sixth Scientific Conference of the College of Science, held at Tikrit University, College of Science, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall on November 18-19, 2025, under the theme “Purposeful Scientific Research: A Cornerstone of Sustainable Development.” The conference saw wide participation from Iraqi, Arab, and international researchers. Professor Khalil presented his research paper, “The Relationship Between Zearlenone Produced by Fusarium Spp. and the Incidence of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in Women,” which was awarded the conference’s Scientific Research Excellence Medal.
This scientific participation reflects the College of Environmental Sciences’ ongoing efforts to support academic research and enhance the presence of its faculty members at international scientific conferences.
