College of Environmental Sciences

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muthanna Jassim Al-Tai, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Climate Change Department, Dr. Ali Zain Al-Abidin Haider, and as part of the scientific activities of the College of Environmental Sciences, the Climate Change Department organized a scientific visit for first-year students to the Central Library at the University of Mosul on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the various sections of the library and introduce them to the scientific and informational services it provides, thereby contributing to the development of their research skills and enhancing their reliance on reliable scientific sources. A group of faculty members from the department accompanied the students during the visit, providing necessary guidance and answering their inquiries, emphasizing the importance of the library as a fundamental resource for supporting the scientific and academic journey. The visit thus fulfilled the fourth and seventeenth Sustainable Development Goals.
