Prof. Dr. Laith Ahmed Najm, from the Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Mosul, participated as a committee member and supervisor in the defense of the master’s thesis of Maher Murad Saleh at the College of Agriculture, held on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

The thesis, entitled:
“Effect of Gamma Irradiation on the Genetic Behavior, Mutations, and Growth of Potato Plants”
highlighted the impact of irradiation on improving the genetic traits of plants and its potential applications in agricultural development.
