In accordance with the directives of Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Science, the Department of Chemistry held a faculty meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Salem Jassim Mohammed, Head of Department, and attended by Asst. Prof. Basma Ahmed, Department Rapporteur, along with all faculty members.

The meeting addressed several important topics, including:

• 📘 Reinforcing the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and the directives of the University of Mosul regarding preparations for the new academic year for undergraduate and graduate students.

• 🏫 Distribution of lectures among faculty members and preparation of laboratories and classrooms.

• 🔄 Discussion of the implementation mechanism for the Bologna Process for the third-year students.

• 🎓 Organizing the distribution of graduation projects for fourth-year students, with an emphasis on selecting applied topics that contribute to sustainable development goals.

• 🤝 Highlighting the importance of collaboration in teaching both core and elective courses to enhance the educational process and strengthen the reputation of the department and college.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the department leadership renewed its appreciation to the faculty members for their outstanding efforts and wished them and the students a successful and productive academic year.
