On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Mosul, witnessed the defense of the master’s thesis entitled:

“Synthesis and Biological Activity Study of Some New Heterocyclic Compounds Derived from a Novel Hydrazide”

presented by Abeer Fathi Obeid Al-Hayani from the Department of Chemistry, in the presence of faculty members of the college.

The thesis focused on organic chemistry, aiming to investigate the synthesis and evaluation of the biological effectiveness of newly derived heterocyclic compounds.
