Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and in the presence of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Rayyan Mazen Faisal, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Adel Sharif, and the Head of the Physics Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Mahmoud Ahmed, the Physics Department at our college held a ceremony on Sunday, September 28, 2025, to honor a select group of faculty members and staff who were retiring, in recognition of their efforts and scientific and administrative contributions during their years of service at the university. Those honored included Professor Dr. Laith Mohammed Saadoun and Assistant Professor Dr. [Name Missing]. Mohsen Mohammed and Ms. Ikhlas Salam

In her address, the Dean praised the efforts of the professors and staff, commending their dedication and significant contributions to the university and college.

We wish all our members continued success and blessings in their academic pursuits.
