As part of the scientific activities of the academic staff of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ryan Mazin Faisal, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Science, chaired the examination committee for the Master’s thesis entitled:

“Characterization and Genetic Analysis of Multidrug-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa Strains in Cancer and Non-Cancer Patients”

presented by Bahra Kakamin Hamad at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Erbil Polytechnic University.

The thesis defense was held on the morning of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected the level of scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities and highlighted the contributions of the College of Science faculty members in supporting scientific research and academic supervision.

The College of Science extends its sincere wishes to Professor Dr. Ryan Mazin Faisal for continued success and scientific excellence, and to all its faculty members for sustained distinction and advancement in academic and research endeavors.
